Tri-M Music Honor Society is a national organization of students who demonstrate excellence in music, academics, and service. MOT is home to Chapter #8004, which was established in 2019. Our students develop and participate in service projects at MOT and in the local community. Check out our current service efforts below to see how you can get involved!
2021-2022 Induction:
2020-2021 Year in Review:
Despite the limitations of the pandemic, members of the Tri-M Music Honor Society were still able to do quite a bit of volunteer work this year. Several members organized and led a Virtual Arts Workshop for younger students as a part of the International Thespian Society. For the school-wide Day of Service, students participated in opportunities such as reading to elementary school students via Zoom. At the end of the year, Tri-M members worked on a project in which they interviewed MOT Charter High School teachers and staff to help prospective students get to know them, even if they are unable to visit campus. With the conclusion of this year, Tri-M is already planning some exciting opportunities for next year, and we can't wait to share them with you!

During the month of February, Tri-M hosted a shoe drive to benefit Soles4Souls. Thanks to the generosity of our students and the MOT community, we were able to donate over 100 pairs of new and gently used shoes to assist families in developing nations. Tri-M thanks you for your contributions!
During the month of December, Tri-M hosted a food drive to benefit Our Daily Bread food pantry in Middletown. Through the generous efforts of MOT students, staff, and families, we were able to donate a carload of food items and a $300 grocery gift card to benefit community members in need. Tri-M would like to extend a sincere thank you to the MOT community for your generosity!
