MOT Charter High School offers a variety of music programs to provide students with diverse creative and performance experiences. Students may major in either Instrumental Music or Vocal Music, and all music majors participate in one or more of our many performance ensembles, developing strong instrumental and vocal technique and learning practical skills to pursue a career in the music industry. In addition to their major, music students may also elect to study music theory and piano. Our music students learn in a modern music classroom setting, with frequent performance opportunities and a blend of 21st-century technology and traditional instruments and repertoire. Instrumental and Vocal Music majors are required to complete at least 3 years of music courses before graduation, and all music courses and ensembles are also open to non-majors.
